🌍 SEDG Cell (Social Equity and Development Group)
The Social Equity and Development Group (SEDG) Cell at Krishnarpit Institute of Education (KIE) is established to foster a culture of inclusiveness, social justice, and community engagement. The cell is committed to addressing issues related to social equity, empowerment, and holistic development of students belonging to marginalized and disadvantaged sections of society.
🎯 Objectives of the SEDG Cell
- To ensure equitable access to academic resources and opportunities for all students
- To support students from SC, ST, OBC, minority, and economically weaker backgrounds
- To promote awareness and sensitivity towards issues of social inequality, gender equity, and community upliftment
- To organize activities that encourage leadership, social responsibility, and personal growth
- To strengthen student involvement in nation-building and social reform initiatives

- Conduct workshops, seminars, and awareness campaigns on social justice, equality, and inclusive education
- Collaborate with NGOs, government bodies, and academic institutions for student development programs
- Provide counseling, mentorship, and academic support to underprivileged students
- Monitor and report any social exclusion, discrimination, or injustice on campus
- Encourage students to participate in community service and outreach programs
